In 1959, Reverend FJ & Lillie Pearce founded Saginaw Assembly of God Church. The Pearces pastored Saginaw Assembly for 37 years. During that time they saw thousands of salvations and changed lives. Under the leadership of the Pearces, more than 40 Missionaries and Preachers surrendered to the call of ministry. In 1974, Saginaw Assembly built a new, larger building. All of the work was completed by the members of the church.

In 1964, church members Melvin and Margie Lemme were blessed with a son whom they named Randy. For the next 20 years, Randy Lemme would grow up under the mentorship of FJ Pearce. And still more years after that, Randy would become the Lead Pastor of Saginaw Assembly of God Church.

In 2008, the members of Saginaw Assembly voted to elect Pastors Randy and Lorrie Lemme to lead the church. During those first few years, the Lord lead the church through Pastor Randy to become a place of blessing and refilling. In 2011, the name was changed from Saginaw Assembly of God Church to The Oasis Church International.
